This 75 m2 apartment on the 23rd floor in an apartment building was bought by the client as a ‘refuge’ in the city.

All partitioning walls are removed, maximizing surface and creating a bright, flexible and open living area. Two furniture objects containing the shafts of the apartment structure the room.

To one object the kitchen is attached: an open frame in red steel and a concrete countertop. The other object covers the bathroom in one corner of the apartment and contains a wardrobe, toilet and space for laundry.

The materials are chosen to take into account the restrictive dimensions of the elevator and the new insulation is biodegradable.
