‘Maison Mosane' is the transformation of a barn near a stately country house, right on the river Meuse near Namur, overlooking the impressive cliffs on the other side of the river. In this existing volume will contain an apartment and a rentable event hall. The apartment is organized on the second floor. The end facade of the barn, facing the river, is opened op completely, offering a maximum panorama of the surroundings, while maintaining a certain privacy in relation to the house on the same grounds. Inside, the various existing levels are connected by a central grand staircase, which forms a connection as if it were a living space on its own. A new extension on the roof contains a reading and working space, which looks out over the surroundings like a crow's nest.
